The Scent of Shadows by Vicki PetterssonWhen she was sixteen, Joanna Archer was brutally assaulted and left to die in the Nevada desert. By rights, she should be dead.
Now a photographer by day, she prowls a different Las Vegas after sunset—a grim, secret Sin City where Light battles Shadow—seeking answers to whom or what she really is . . . and revenge for the horrors she was forced to endure.
But the nightmare is just beginning—for the demons are hunting Joanna, and the powerful shadows want her for their own . . .

Homeless People Live in Tunnels Under Las Vegas
B roken glass crunched under shoes, alerting tunnel dwellers that outsiders had arrived. Deeper in the dark, squat-ceilinged space, 25ft below the Las Vegas strip, Kregg Nattrour rested on a pile of gutted mattress foam. They include full-time wage workers, panhandlers and self-described hustlers. Tourists drop money on the ground. Gamblers give winnings away, or leave slot machines loaded with credits. Sometimes people nod off at gaming machines, allowing men like Nattrour to withdraw cash vouchers on the sly.
Actions and Detail Panel
Does anyone know the hours that the silhouetted dancers perform at the Shadow Bar at Caesars Palace? I've only been there in the evenings, liked it though, husband watched the shadow dancing, I watched the good looking bartenders, lol. I wanted to go in there after the last Celine show a couple of summers ago BUT the place was filled with only men and I could feel them looking this middle aged, overweight female over with a snicker or two and decided against it But no, they just keep their eyes on the screens! And there were many women patrons there too. This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
