Pioneer Woman’s Cinnamon Rolls
I happened to catch P-Dub on TV last week where she was making her cinnamon rolls. I decided then and there that they would finally be on our weekend menu. The question is, could I succeed at making them as well as she does? It would include another battle with yeast , after all. Not too bad considering I totally forgot to add the baking soda, baking powder and salt to the dough. I also clearly rolled my dough out way too thin.
I live in the country. Welcome to my frontier! These cinnamon rolls are…heaven. I make them like this all the time, obviously, and the shape of the rolls matters not when it comes to eating them. Sprinkling on some flour—both under and on top of the dough—will help mitigate the extreme stickiness and make you a more contented person. However, if you prefer the dough to be more firm, you need only chill it in the fridge. It really does cooperate so much better, and results in a neater, more held-together roll.
