Bible Verses on Healing - Be Healed by the Grace of God - Scriptures for Health & Comforting Music

It is said the emotional, verbal and mental abuse is worse than physical abuse. With physical abuse the scars heal but when someone is emotionally wounded these scars can last a lifetime if they are not properly addressed.

Prayer for Emotional Abuse

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. He keeps all his bones, Not one of them is broken. No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Therefore let one who speaks in a tongue pray that he may interpret.

Psalms - [The righteous] cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Read More Ephesians - And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians - With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 1 Corinthians - But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. Romans - [There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. James - Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

What does the Bible say about? When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

  1. Emotional abuse is the unseen fallout of all other forms of abuse: physical, mental, verbal, sexual, and even spiritual abuse.
