Love vs. Infatuation
When yu get ignored by ur loved one.. The wealth I have won in my life I cannot bring with me. What I can bring is only the memories precipitated by love. I only wanted you. I woke up everyday thinking of you, I went through everyday with you in my head I went to sleep thinking about you…then I dreamed about you…now all I can do is miss you!
Home Recent Discussions Search. Single Peeps! The thread entitled "What is love? I've never been in a relationship before but I have had some very strong feelings before. For example, my childhood friend I had feelings for for years. I knew he didn't feel the same way, so I never told him, but we were close friends and I confided in him about some personal things.
I'm trying to remember how I first learned what "love" was. Sure, my parents said "I love you" to me as an infant, but my cognitive skills were also infantile. I remember crying in a movie theater chair when the Beast from Beauty and The Beast turned into the prince — why did he leave?! My three-year-old brain couldn't exactly process "transformation. And while I knew how much my parents loved each other, figuring out how to know if you're in love has always seemed nebulous to me. Was that enormous, life-shattering crush on the boy I sat with on the bus one time in seventh grade love?
Let me be totally honest: Being married is super fun. It's like having a slumber party every night with the coolest, cutest, sexiest person you know. Before I met my husband, I wasn't sure I ever actually wanted to get married. Meeting your "forever person" is a unique experience. It's like if I get woken up while I'm sleeping, I don't mind letting him see me turn into Attila the Hun. When you find your forever person, you'll feel totally comfortable just being you. In prior relationships, although I would have fun with the people I was with, that's all it was: fun.
