Afghan Society aims to bring students from different cultural backgrounds together to promote cultural and academic events. The University of Leeds African-Caribbean Society ACS is a society bounded by the celebration and education of African and Caribbean culture; a home away from home and a pathway to cultural enlightenment. BSOC is an inclusive cultural society that offers students the opportunity to meet new people of all backgrounds and celebrate Bengali culture through various social events. This society is an inter-sectional and inclusive environment which celebrates and educates on different aspects of the issues of BAME students by providing a platform of open dialogue for all students. This Society brings Chinese and British cultures together, balancing academic life with the social experience of University. Discover all about Brunei with plenty of events including Eid, a National Day dinner and a cultural exhibition. Chinese students and scholars can get support and keep Chinese culture alive by joining this Association.

Leeds has one of the largest student unions in the country. Leeds University Union LUU exists to represent, support and entertain you throughout your student years. You can even try your hand at Quidditch! Our active student-run societies are a great place to meet others in the Faculty and participate in great socials and trips.
