The best way to determine the appropriate course, is to first determine the required level of First Aid and then match it with the required CPR skills. Enhanced Standard First Aid This 3-day course is for those requiring more in-depth first aid training, is a pre-requisite for the Instructor Development Program, and is the required for entry to the EMR Program. First Aid in Child Care This two-day course is designed for professional child care workers, but great for parents and all caregivers. This course includes emergency life saving skills and first aid topics with a focus on children. CPR Level A — AED In this course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult whose heart has stopped or who is choking, and learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke. This course also includes AED certification.
