After a 3-day weekend filled with donuts and all of the unhealthy American treats I could get my hands on, it's time to get back in control of my eating habits and my health. Today I am starting a day Ketogenic diet challenge. For those who aren't familiar with the Keto diet, it's basically a low carb, high fat diet. My main foods will be healthy fats with some meats, cheeses, nuts and vegetables. Eventually I would like to get the whole family eating this way, but for these next 30 days I'm just going to be challenging myself to ditch the sugar and start living a healthier life that unfortunately does not include donuts.
