Life of Pi-Great Life and Professional lessons

Life of Pi

Photo credit above : Wallpaper Abyss. Some movies connect with us only in the mind while others connect with us only in the heart. Then, there are those rare movies that connect with us in both of those ways. Life of Pi is one such movie, for it delves seamlessly into the world of rationality and religion, accompanied by enchanting music. The choice of music complements each scene so perfectly that one is easily drawn into the movie. Of course, this is a matter of personal preference. To me, Life of Pi highlights a number of valuable lessons through its main character, Piscine Molitor Patel, which are applicable to people from all walks of life.

Pssst… we can write an original essay just for you. In Life of Pi, Yann Martel juxtaposes issues of morality alongside the primitive necessity of survival. As Pi finds himself in a dire conflict between faith and reason, Martel asks the reader to consider what actions are moral or immoral when facing potential extinction. Pitted against deadly circumstances, Pi fights to survive while clinging to his sense of morality through various means, including illusory storytelling that blurs the line between reality and fiction. Which is the better story, the story with animals or the story without animals?

Life of Pi is a story about struggling to survive through seemingly insurmountable odds. Pi abandons his lifelong vegetarianism and eats fish to sustain himself. Orange Juice, the peaceful orangutan, fights ferociously against the hyena. Even the severely wounded zebra battles to stay alive; his slow, painful struggle vividly illustrates the sheer strength of his life force. As Martel makes clear in his novel, living creatures will often do extraordinary, unexpected, and sometimes heroic things to survive.

The moral story of 'Life of PI' are: Respect the others Everyone has faith; to the God or to logical reason why they live. It was represent in PI.

Life of Pi-Goodbye

Life of Pi is a Canadian fantasy adventure novel by Yann Martel published in The protagonist is Piscine Molitor "Pi" Patel, an Indian Tamil boy from Pondicherry who explores issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age. He survives days after a shipwreck while stranded on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean with a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. The novel has sold more than ten million copies worldwide. The novel begins with a note from the author, which is an integral part of it. Unusually, the note describes entirely fictional events. It serves to establish and enforce one of the book's main themes: the relativity of truth.

A captivating story with many dimensions and visually stunning, the movie leaves you engrossed till the end and has also got high ratings from both the critics and audience. There are also some great lessons in life and business, that one can learn from Life Of Pi. If you believe in everything, you will end up not believing in anything at all. His words hold true, not only for religion, but are also valid for our daily life and business. Listening to all sorts of advice will harm your chances and cause delay in reaching your end goal. As with faith and advisors in life, entrepreneurs must be careful in choosing their business model and target group. Pursuing divergent and often energy sapping paths lead to quick burnouts and eventual disillusionment with the whole process.

With the Oscars fast approaching, it's always good fun to look back on the movies of the last year and make predictions. I'm putting my money on Argo to win the big awards mostly because it makes Hollywood look like a hero , but my heart is with Life of Pi. Like many people who read the book and saw the film, it is one of those rare cases where the movie is exactly like the book. It hits the right notes, and Ang Lee's artistry is nothing short of miraculous. But beyond the stunning visual spectacle, the film and book offers us some pretty aha-worthy life lessons. Here are eight of my favorites and no, I won't spoil the movie or book!
