Rhythm of Life

The Rhythm of Life, is the second album from Classical-Crossover Soprano Joanna Forest, who shot to fame in when she became the very first independent artist to go straight to Number 1 in the Official Classical Album Charts with a debut album. The concept was driven by the scientific evidence that shows how music has a very positive effect in the development of children and the mental wellbeing of all. It will bring joy and fond memories to families, parents and children alike. Paul Potts says: "I first had the pleasure of working with Joanna at the Coppafeel fundraising gala at the Palace Theatre in the West End a few years ago. Her voice has a very warm glow to it so I think our track, Because We Believe suits us both really well. Music is a very powerful medium that transcends borders, class, language and time.

There were a lot of challenges that came with being a first-time parent. But for me, the most difficult adjustment was that there was absolutely no consistent rhythm or routine those first few months. It was the first season of my life that totally adjusted my expectations of rhythm. You see up until that point, many of my rhythms were about doing things just for me. Even after getting married, I could still sleep as much as I wanted or go for a run whenever I felt like it. I was free to create a schedule and habits around things that gave me life.

Rhythm of Life Lyrics: I understood the plan / I'm gonna be the man / (You changed my destiny, no doubt it's plain to see) / One life is all we've got / Don't let them.

Defining Rhythm: What it is & What itís not

Music psychologist and jazz pianist David Hargreaves of Roehampton University is probably the only professor to have opened the bill for Chuck Berry. But last week he beat even that. This is startling enough but, in a world in which finance limits healthcare as much as does medical knowledge, it hints that music could have a dramatic effect on the well-being of billions. In fact, dozens of experiments have shown that listening to music has a variety of direct health benefits. We know that the health benefits of music are greater for women than men, children rather than infants or adults, if the music is live rather than pre-recorded, or if the pain is temporary, from say a careless dentist, rather than from deep tissue damage.
