The Irish author unveiled the exciting movie news to Ryan Tubridy. The best-selling author announced earlier this year that she had penned the sequel to PS I Love You, entitled Postcript. The sequel will takes place seven years after the death of her husband Gerry, who was played by Gerard Butler in the film. Ahern revealed that Swank contacted her directly to express her interest in returning for the next film. The writer said she resisted writing a sequel to the much-loved book until she landed on the right concept. Back in , when I had my second baby I was with my solicitor changing my will, you know you are adding guardianship if anything happens to me, and as I was doing that I thought of all the things that people do in preparation for the possibility that they might leave this world, for the people that they are leaving behind. And my mom told me she did that for me as well.
