Mulan by Walt Disney Company

I remember this was one of the first books I ever had. I loved Mulan as a child. She was the badass warrior, the one who would do anything to save her family and go to war like it was nobodys business.
I cant remember much from it, but I definitely remember an afternoon when I was bored and this book saved me from it. I read it about 7 or 8 times - Im not even kidding - almost to the point I knew all the dialogues.
This book brings me such warm memories from my chilhood. Some other people may not relate but this is so intimate to me.

The franchise currently comprises twelve female protagonists from eleven different Walt Disney Animation Studios films and one Pixar film who are either royal by birth, royal by marriage, or considered a "princess" due to their significant portrayal of heroism in their film. Although the specific criteria for becoming a member of the franchise is vague for the most part, most often there are "unofficial" Disney Princesses who do not join the line-up for different reasons. It later expanded to include Tiana , Rapunzel , Merida , and Moana after the successes and cultural impact of their respective films. The Disney Princesses are featured in various sing-a-long video series released through the Walt Disney Company. In addition, the franchise includes dolls, miniature castles, and other toys. The Princesses are also featured very prominently at the Disney theme parks.

Mulan is the eighth official member the Disney Princess franchise, a media franchise marketed towards young girls.

Mulan is the 8th official Disney Princess and first heroine in the line-up who is not actually royalty through either birth or marriage. The original story of Mulan was based on the fifth century Chinese poem the Ballad of Mulan. The original poem was originally a short fable, designed to show gender equality, but in the following centuries it was developed until Hua Mulan became a legendary figure. As little contemporary evidence exists other than the poem, it is unknown whether she was a real or fictional figure. Hua Mulan eventually became a legendary figure. As little evidence exists other than the poem, it is unknown whether she was a real figure. Hua Mulan seems to be more feisty, assured of herself, socially graceful and effortlessly talented.
