Attack on Titan, Vol. 1 (Attack on Titan, #1) by Hajime IsayamaIn this post-apocalyptic sci-fi story, humanity has been devastated by the bizarre, giant humanoids known as the Titans. Little is known about where they came from or why they are bent on consuming mankind. Seemingly unintelligent, they have roamed the world for years, killing everyone they see. As we were all expecting of the anime, Episode 32 of Attack on Titan was all about the fight between Eren and the Armored and Colossal Titans. I was very satisfied by the pace of action and the fight scenes. They were interesting and managed to keep your attention with all the flashbacks and the constant change of plans and strategies. After the huge revelation of the previous episode, we see Eren and the Armored Titan engaging into battle. Meanwhile, Hange and the rest try to fight the Colossal Titan, but before they try to do anything he devours Ymir and another Scout. However, at that moment he has a flashback from his training days, where he used to spar with Annie and remembers some hand-to-hand techniques that she taught him. These techniques manage to give him the upper hand in the battle, but despite that, Armin suggests to him to get closer to the Wall for his own safety.

In the Japanese fantasy world of Attack on Titan , the last bit of humanity has survived by living within territories surrounded by enormous walls. These protective walls serve as the only barrier between the remaining humans and the gigantic man-eating creatures, known to the frightened locals as Titans. The third season of the anime television series, which consists of about 22 episodes, adapts the corresponding "Uprising" and "Return to Shiganshina" chapters from the original manga. After being disappointed with these previous volumes, the Attack on Titan creator is proud to have replaced the story arc with something he is truly proud of. The Attack on Titan creator discussed with the show writers the ways he wanted the storylines from volumes 13 through 16 to be rearranged.
