It tends to be a safe place for our favorite sin, we hide it away in the inner most parts of our mind where no one can find it and no one knows about it. The mind is a powerful thing, it is a wonderful tool but it can be a dangerous snare.

Idleness means you have no particular goal in mind, and, thus, you can be easily distracted. Warning is given about supporting young widows from the church's funds because it leaves the woman with little to do. For this same cause, all Christians are commanded to work. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies.

What will the devil work with if there is nothing there? If the devil is working, he is putting something there, if you go on thinking and thinking, how do you know where these thoughts have come from?

Here's a novel concept: Doing nothing is as productive -- maybe even more productive -- as doing something. This is according to a couple of university professors. As Daniel J.
