The Power of Friendship by Parke GodwinWhen this was on TV, I loyally watched the heck out of this show. I might not remember too many of the details anymore from the show, but I remember enjoying it.
I have to say, I think I liked this even more than the TV series.
Theres just so much MORE to this comic. They have more powers than simple elemental magic. They have so much more personality than I remember. The art and story are so much quirkier than I remember.
For those who have no idea what Im talking about, W.I.T.C.H. is the story of five friends who turn into magical guardians to save their town. They also have to learn the right and wrong way to use their new-found magical abilities (for example, a good way would be to kick monster butt, while a bad way would be to turn people into frogs). Essentially, a Sailor Moon mashed together with some Sabrina the Teenaged Witch animated series hijinks.
If you can find this gem of a comic, definitely pick it up. Its so much fun.
