I often put pen to paper and wrote stories which I read aloud as entertainment for family and friends. But it was only when I became a mom that I started to think seriously about publishing my work. Who knows if this is true, but I can tell you that this place is truly magical. Get off the beaten path and explore this fascinating town and its surroundings! They have dorms, private rooms and also an option for camping. I stayed in a private room which was kind of isolated from the main building area. This was perfect for me because I really wanted to have some privacy and silence after spending the last few days hanging out with other people and sleeping in dorms. Did anybody else see the awesome full moon on Tuesday night? Where I live I have to drive down country lanes where it's pretty damn dark and it was really beautiful to see the moon, brightening up the sky, on my way home from yoga class. I'm still learning a lot about the spiritual side of yoga and in Tuesday's class we actually used the moon to set new intentions for what we'd like to achieve in the next month or so. Clearly on a one track mind, my intention was to try and improve my home yoga practice. I used to do yoga all the time in my third year at Uni and actually got pretty good at it!
However, I recently visited a place which is defo away with the fairies, pixies, green men and more. On one of my recent jollies away I dropped into Glastonbury. There was something I was after, I knew I would find it in Glastonbury so a detour was made. I will admit that I did dabble with the hippy look when I was an art student. But like my artistic career, the look was shorted-lived and back to normal I went. So in dear old Glasto I felt like a fish out of water. It started with a cuppa.
